Our story

Recipes that started at the Mason Jar

Ruby and Norris Davidson opened The Mason Jar Restaurant in Hendersonville in 1989, serving turkey and dressing, roast beef, skillet-fried chicken, and homemade pies in a welcoming family room.

When they retired, they shared those recipes with friends who opened Ruby's Kitchen. Today on Dickerson Pike, the same hospitality and homemade cooking continue — affordable plates, generous sides, and a seat-yourself Southern welcome.
